Who are the Sons of God? (Part 3)

knowangel

Let's go back to the story of Adam. I'm writing like the Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls. You start the story, then digress, and then go back to the story and digress again. It's all to show emphasis and to make a point and to make sure there's no misunderstandings.

The Apocalypse of Adam

In this book, The Apocalypse of Adam, Adam is telling his son, Seth, about what happened to his mother, Eve, and himself, and what's going to happen in the future--The Flood and The Messiah. There's this description of Eve teaching Adam "knowledge" like the image of her giving him the fruit she had been told to eat and be like God noted in the Bible. In The Apocalypse of Adam, what the serpent said in the Bible actually did happen. After they ate the fruit, they were like knowgodlikeGod (Genesis 3:5), and they thought they were better and even more powerful than God.

Humph. More powerful than God? They didn't know God that well.

So, Adam and Eve, after acquiring knowledge, thought that they were more powerful than God and his powers and the angels.

And God proved to them otherwise.

God separated Adam and Eve, who were immortal with God-like knowledge, from the Universal knowlegde. Like the flaming sword of Genesis(Genesis 3:24), they were divided from God. But I'm thinking more like spiritually, mentally connected (telepathy anyone?). Like having a connection with the land and/or animals. Everything is connected (land, human, animal, sky) and influence each other. (Oh yeah. Before you read below, the definition of Aeon is like "eternal" or as Dictionary.com says: "One of a class of powers or beings conceived as emanating from the Supreme Being and performing various functions in the operations of the universe").

"Then God, the ruler of the Aeons and the powers, divided us in wrath. Then we became two Aeons. And the glory in our hearts left us , me and your mother Eve, along with the first knowledge that breathed within us. And glory fled from us; not from this Aeon from which we had come forth, I and Eve your mother. But knowledge entered into the seed of great Aeons."

You have to read the above without the commas, periods and semi-colons. Since these types of texts didn't have such punctuations, the interpreter had to guess. I read the last line like this: And the glory, the pureness, the light of God, fled from Adam and Eve, which happened, not in the place that they dwelled now (inside Eden, but outside the garden), where Adam is telling his son, Seth, the story, but in another place, another Aeon, where greatness realmed. The place where they acquired the knowledge of God, in the garden.

Adam and Eve were then cursed with mortality after the days of being immortal. And slowly they began to loose the knowledge that they had acquired from the fruit, and began to REALLY know/learn what mortality was.Wow. NOW they understood who God really was. He was the only God, and the most powerful, and they stepped over the line. And they learned humility.

Continuing from The Apocalypse of Adam

"After those days the eternal knowledge of the God of truth withdrew from me and your mother Eve. Since that time we learned about dead things, like men. Then we recognized the God who had created us. For we were not strangers to his powers. And we served him in fear and slavery. And after these events we became darkened in our hearts. Now I slept in the thought of my heart."

Adam and Eve had to live with the knowledge that they would soon die, as well as the shame of what they had done of defying God, who, at first, they did not truly know...but now they do. I don't think this was a "knowing" like they never saw Him before, or He was a "stranger". I think of this "knowing" as a different way of thinking about who God REALLY was. I mean, you've heard people say: "Do you know God? Do you REALLY know Him?" It's like that. You know there is a God, or that people believe in a God, but, like Adam and Eve, do you REALLY know what He is all about? Adam and Eve had to find out the hard way. They were once at peace and had everything given to them, but after their defiance, they now fear God and respect him, because of the way they were punished. They also feel enslaved, because 1) they now have to work the land to feed themselves (back to the Bible Genesis 3:17) and 2) they were probably constantly trying to do things to be forgiven and be enveloped back into that pureness of God...that Aeon place, the garden--which they could not return to (Genesis 3:22-24). Constantly trying to make amends is hard and laboring...thus slavering (i.e. slavery). "Now I slept in the thought of my heart," which, I believe is stating, that Adam became depressed.

After some time away from the pureness of God, they were visited by three men who, I believe, were also Sons of Gods because of Adam's description of them. At first, seeing just the three men, Adam was relieved that God was not with them, but then God revealed himself from these men, and told Adam who He was and announced that He was there. And Adam, being again in God's presence, felt his shame ... again. You know that feeling of "you don't know what you have until it's gone" kind of thing? That's what Adam felt-- knowing that he could never be close to God, neither recognize God, or be a part of that paradise anymore. It puts a pit in your heart.

Continuing The Apocalypse of Adam

When I had heard these words from the great men who were standing before me, then we sighed, I and Eve, in our hearts. And the Lord, the God who had created us, stood before us. He said to us , "Adam, why were you both sighing in your hearts? Do you not know that I am the God who created you? And I breathed into you a spirit of life as a living soul" Then darkness came upon our eyes."

"Then the God, who created us, created a son from himself and Eve, your mother. I knew sweet desire for your mother. Then the vigor of our eternal knowledge was destroyed in us, and weakness pursued us. Therefore the days of our lives became few. For I knew that I had come under the authority of death."

God created another son from Himself and Eve, and some time after that, Adam and Eve now, not only, lost the "knowledge" of when they were immortality, but began to "feel" mortality as well.

I'm not quite sure who this "son" is from Eve and God, but it might be Seth, though the Christian Bible states that Adam knew his wife again and Seth was born. Or maybe this new child was a combination of the three of them because of that "sweet desire" statement. I don't know. These stories were written, like most stories do, that the audience already has a certain amount of background knowledge of what they are talking about, so it doesn't have to be explained much in detail. And that's frustrating to us readers thousands of years in the future. But. Oh well. That's how it goes. "You gotta be there" kind of thing. Let's continue on.

knowdeath

Adam and Eve started to now feel the actual aging process, and soon death, sometime after this Son of God was born. The Apocalypse of Adam goes on to describe about the flood and Noah, and how the half-breeds, those born from the Sons of God who went into the daughters of men, would all perish in that flood.

The half-breeds, the Nephilim, had "the knowledge" which Adam and Eve had gradually lost after eating the fruit; and every generation afterwards lost a bit more of that "born wisdom" or automatic knowledge or instinct. However, the Sons of God show up and give mankind some of that knowledge again. According to the Bible, "the knowledge," I believe, isn't something that should live forever in a mutated creation. However, the half-breeds lifespan, being that they were half Angels, were probably very close to being immortal...or rather, they were supposed to live for a very, very long time. I think what God was referring to "his Spirit" as that mixture of knowledge and a bit of immortality. But since everything got twisted with those two things involved, God stated that in 120 years, the half-breed, and everything else, will perish.

Genesis 6:3

"Then the LORD said, “My spirit will not remain in humans forever, for they are corrupt; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”"

Before the flood

How do you think Cain was able to build a city (Genesis 4:17)? He was born with the knowledge. Afterwards, through loss of knowlege from each generation, degenerating genes (after mankind had slowly began to loose the knowledge that Adam and Eve first acquired when they ate the fruit), these fallen Angels, these Sons of God, then taught mankind all kinds of "knowledge". I believe that mankind's new mutated flesh, which can now die, couldn't hold that type of knowledge for very long. That type of God-like knowledge, the new, mutated body, was just too impure to hold. I believed knowxmenthat if one could have a clear state of mind, of total purity, than all kinds of knowledge that are held back with negativity and bad thoughts and insecurities and hate, could all come forward. I mean, come on, we only use, what? 10% of our brains? If we were pure, we probably could be like the comic book heroes, like X-Men, and be able to do all KINDS of stuff: fly, telepathy, create something from nothing, transport 2,000 ton stones (Google "Stone of the Pregnant Woman").... and all those types of things. And if mankind was still able to regenerate themselves by having access to that Tree of Life, the entire universe would go down hill with us corrupting everything!

The half-breeds, the half-sons-of-god, the half-gods, the demi-gods, the titans, the Nephilim, were like X-men. They were called "heroes of old, men of renown" (Genesis 6:4). They were probably like Hercules and that Perseus guy (the guy who beheaded Medusa).

I think the half-breeds, those giants, the Nephilim, had abilities, but their human selves were just too corrupted for them to use their abilities in the right and truthful manner. They had hunger. They wanted to eat. These types of sensations were probably something their Sons-of-God-parents did not have. An insatiable hunger. They were like vampires.

God wanted to wipe them out. They were causing too much pain towards mankind..killing them. Eating them. And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven . . (Book of Enoch, Chapter 8).

The Sons of God heard about Gods big plan, you know, the flood, and they went to Enoch to draw up a petition for them so that they might be forgiven. You remember Enoch, right? He's the guy that "walked with God" and didn't die because "God took him" and he was "no more." (Genesis 5:22-24). Enoch was favored, kind of like Noah...well, Enoch was Noah's great-grandfather, so he was like pure, being "perfect in his generations" (Genesis 6:9) kind of like pure, which, I think, ran in the family.

Back to the story. The angels went to Enoch for help (Book of Enoch, Chapter 13), because their punishment was going to be pretty bad for being another major part of all this corruptin on the earth. Not only were their petition not granted (Book of Enoch Chapter 14), but they had to watch their children, the Nephilim, slay each other with swords and they had to watch this without having the power to stop it. knowgiants

Then they had watch some of their children die in the flood, and all of what they helped build, all the technology, all that hard work, all those Great Cities, become covered with water. These cities being found today near:

  • Yonaguni-Jima, Japan
  • Yucatan Channel near Cuba (Havana, Cuba)
  • Bay of Cambay, India

(Google: underwater cities...and SIDE NOTE: No wonder Noah started getting drunk. Can you imagine entire cities and civilization...gone! Having to start from scratch with no more technology??? No supermarkets. No TV???!!! No smart phones (there's a theory that those obelisks and pyramids were like cell towers, or used to direct energy, rather it be mental or physical...who knows, but it was used throughout the world--a world-wide energy grid. Google: "pyramid energy". So, that means, for Noah and his family, no more electricity!!).

And then the Sons of God watched mankind make their grand-children extinct through wars. (The Nephilim were on the earth in those days of the flood—and also afterward--Genesis 6:4). And the punishment didn't stop there. On top of that hurtful stuff of watching their children die, they were then bound into the earth for seventy generations (Book of Enoch, Chapter 10) until the day of judgment when they would be led into the fire, and tormented to the end of all generations.

And what about all their grandchildren and great-grandchildren who also contained some of their drops of angel-blood? They were picked off as the years went by. Group-by-group, one-by-one, mankind made the giants extinct. Goliath was one of them.

Here's a list of the giant grandchildren in the Christian Bible:

  • Emites — as tall as the Anakites - Also considered Rephaites (Deuteronomy 2:10)
  • Anakites - Also considered Rephaites (Deuteronomy 9:2 & Deuteronomy 2:11)
  • Rephaites - also called Emites (Deuteronomy 2:11)
  • Arba, who was the greatest man among the Anakites, forefather of Anak (Joshua 14:15)
  • The descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim (Numbers 13:33)
  • The descendants of Anak: Ahiman, Sheshai and Talmai (Joshua 15:14)
  • Goliath - who was from Gath, where Anakites lived (Joshua 11:22)
  • Declaration of killing off all Giants: "No Anakites were left in Israelite territory; only in Gaza, Gath and Ashdod did any survive." (Joshua 11:22)
